Austin Wins Phoenixville Social Concerns Writing Contest with Essay on Social Justice

Austin was recently named the winner of the Phoenixville Area Social Concerns Committee Writing Contest, an incredible achievement that showcases his talent for writing and critical thinking.

Students across the Phoenixville area were challenged to respond to the thought-provoking question: "What can individuals do when social justice is threatened?" Austin's powerful entry emphasizes the need to understand the history of social injustice, the importance of advocacy, the strength of organized communities, and the responsibility of holding others accountable through education and respectful dialogue.

His essay offers insightful perspectives and delivers a meaningful, reflective message that encourages action and awareness. As part of this well-earned recognition, Austin will have the honor of sharing his work at the Phoenixville Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast, hosted by the Phoenixville Area Social Concerns Committee.
