Senior projects are granted to senior knights as a means of giving back to the communities they fervently feel compelled to serve. These projects serve as a final opportunity for these knights to contemplate a community they are truly passionate about and to discern ways to provide invaluable assistance, make a lasting impact, and offer much-needed guidance.
Two exceptionally dedicated seniors, Daysha Stewart and Aliyah Heller, embarked on a mission to disseminate information regarding universal healthcare access. Stewart and Heller's unwavering goal was to equip everyone with the knowledge and resources needed to access affordable healthcare, irrespective of their circumstances. They also sought to emphasize the significance of regular health screenings for all, regardless of their status.
To bring their vision to fruition, Heller and Stewart forged a strategic partnership with Health Care Access of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. Health Care Access has long been committed to connecting uninsured and underinsured residents in the Greater Phoenixville area with specialized healthcare services.
With the support of Health Care Access, Stewart and Heller succeeded in spreading awareness about universal healthcare to the residents of Chester County and its surrounding regions. Their dedication didn't stop there; they extended their outreach to ensure that all families within Renaissance Academy, from K-12, could easily access the information they had gathered through their collaboration with Health Care Access. To achieve this, Stewart and Heller thoughtfully dedicated a webpage on the Renaissance Academy website, providing links to Health Care Access's invaluable resources.
In their selfless act of service, these senior knights embodied compassion, leaving an indelible mark on their community and exemplifying the true purpose of being Renaissance Academy knights.
