Enrollment Information for the 2025-2026 School Year

Thank you for your interest in enrolling at Renaissance Academy Charter School for the 2025-2026 school year!

Renaissance Academy's enrollment is lottery-based. This application is the first part of the process. If your student is selected during the lottery, the final part of the process is enrollment.

This application pertains only to the lottery for the 2025-2026 school year. It is important to note that completing this application does not guarantee a spot for your student but serves as the initial step in the enrollment lottery or waitlist process.

Lottery Deadline

The 2025-2026 school year enrollment application will open on September 30th, 2024.

Applications must be submitted by December 7th, 2024. The lottery will be held on January 27th, 2025 at 9:00AM. The lottery will be livestreamed, details below.

If you miss the December 7th deadline, you can still apply for the upcoming school year. However, please note that late applications, including those for siblings of currently enrolled students, will not be eligible for the lottery.

Fully completed and submitted applications will be added to Renaissance Academy's waitlists based on the student's 2025-2026 grade level. If your application is submitted by the December 7, 2024, lottery deadline, you will receive a confirmation email with additional information about the lottery in January 2025. If you apply after December 7, 2024, your application will be placed on our waitlists, and you will receive a confirmation email with waitlist information.

  1. Proof of the student's age

Any one of the following constitutes acceptable documentation:

  •  Birth certificate
  • Notarized copy of birth certificate
  • Baptismal certificate
  • Copy of the record of baptism - notarized or duly certified and showing the date of birth
  • Notarized statement from the parents or another relative indicating the date of birth
  • Valid passport

2. Immunization Records

Please submit the most recent copy of your student's immunization record. Details can be found on our website under the Health Services section, under Immunization Information.

3. Academic Records

Per our Board of Trustees policy, please submit your student's academic records, including the final report card for the 2024-2025 school year and for the 2025-2026 school year when available. For students in grades 9-12, we will need official transcripts. If your child is currently in 9th grade, please also include their final 8th-grade report card, along with the 9th-grade transcript when available.

While these documents are required for an application to be considered complete, they shall not be used for selection purposes nor cause any delay in the student's enrollment. The Charter School will proceed with enrollment based on the primary required documents.

Step 3: Confirmation

Once the enrollment application is fully completed and submitted, you will be contacted by the Enrollment Coordinator with a confirmation email, which will include an option to schedule a meeting or tour at your convenience.

Please allow 2-3 business days for the confirmation email to be sent, as our Enrollment Coordinator is processing applications during this busy enrollment period.

If you do not receive the confirmation email, ensure your application was submitted and feel free to contact the Enrollment Coordinator at Enrollment@rak12.org to follow up.

Please note, in alignment with our Board Policy, any applications received after the lottery deadline, including those with "preference" status, will be placed at the back of the waitlist for the applicable grade level. No exceptions can be made. We appreciate your understanding and support.
