Renaissance Academy's 10th Year Anniversary Medieval Gala

On November 14, 2009, the Renaissance Academy Charter School hosted a Medieval Banquet Gala, benefiting the construction of our new school campus. This lavish event was held at Franklin Hall, Phoenixville, PA where 200 guests, dressed in medieval period attire or black tie, were treated to fine dining, music by Ultimate Entertainment DJ, and a slide show showing the ten year accomplishments of Renaissance Academy. In attendance was guest speaker, Senator Andy Dinniman who spoke of the import role charter schools play in education and, ultimately, in the future of our country’s competitiveness within the global market. There was also a silent auction, with donations of goods and services by many local businesses (view).

The net amount raised by the gala was $24,777. One-hundred percent of the evening’s proceeds will go toward the building of Renaissance Academy’s new campus, which will be located in the Franklin Commons Education Center, Phoenixville, PA.

A Very Special Thank You to all the Generous Contributors and Guests!
